Land Reclamation difficulties
When placing soil for land reclamation, time settlement and densification are two challenges that need to be addressed. With the placement of large amounts of fill, especially through dredging, certain soils may not be placed in a dense state. Vibrocompaction or AMPier treatment can densify new fill to reduce the time needed for construction to begin.
